Killer Sudoku 10×10

When was the last time I posted a Killer Sudoku variant puzzle for the first time? I can’t remember. Well, nearly 8 years (I’m a bit slow, you know) after publishing first Killer Sudoku, it occurred to me that there is no reason not to add the 0 into play. So… ladies and gentleman… a world premier (or is it?)…

Killer Sudoku 10×10

– use digits 0 to 9 to solve this one!

How to solve this? Well, use exactly the same techniques as you would normally. The rule of 45 still applies – we are only adding the 0! However, be careful when analyzing cage combinations – things are now quite different and there are more options for each cage sum. And don’t be surprised when you see a sum of “2” over 2 cells. 1+1 is not an option (no repeats, of course), but there is now another possibility: 0+2! What do you think? ๐Ÿ™‚

    Stravo,

this 10 x 10 …so tricky…a really new dimension of Killers!!! And pretty great for me as a “hardcore” Killer-Sudoku-fan! Have to start -by “Zero”! ;o))
Hope a “book” will follow in the future?!

Tina, I will surely start including a few 10×10 Killers in my future Killer Sudoku books! ๐Ÿ™‚

Great! Very enjoyable and I’d love to see more. Maybe a zero killer with overlapping grids? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Wow, you guys always want more and more complicated stuff. ๐Ÿ™‚ Lets see what we’re going to do with these ones. Perhaps a regular Killer Sudoku 10×10 on Saturdays? ๐Ÿ™‚

What did you think of the difficulty of this one? Is THINKER the right level?

        THINKER is the best!!!

And @Scott! What a great idea!!!:o) It should be possible without breaking the rules! My offer:
        A two coloured puzzle:
        1. Black fields: normal Jigsaw including zero
        2. Red fields: the overlapping Killer cages
        3. Some regions without any entrance and some with “even/odd” and “” hints only
My dream! The funniest and hardest Sudoku ever, or???!!!

    Next step 16 x 16?

Hmmm… maybe! But I think that would be way too difficult, don’t you?

It would be boring too! Same as the 12- or 16- cell-sudokus!!!
